The Last of Us is an post apocalyptic game that can be played on PC and Ps4 and Ps5. Joel, a tired protagonist, is recruited to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of a military quarantine zone in a destroyed society where diseased and tough survivors are on the loose. But what begins as a menial task quickly turns into a torturous cross-country trek. Joel is a seasoned survivor who has lost his moral compass since his daughter passed away. Ellie is a young child who struggles to connect with people and is suspicious of Joel. Joel is assigned to take Ellie to the Fireflies, a revolutionary organization that hopes to utilize Ellie to discover a treatment for the illness. The game examines themes of loss, survival, and the extent people will go to in order to keep the ones they care about safe. The action, gameplay, and other parts of the game are dramatic and exciting.
To protect oneself from the infected and other human survivors, players employ combat attacks using chokeholds, bats, and metal pipes in addition to weaponry like handguns, rifles, and homemade explosives. Additionally, players can participate in close-up camera battle scenes. Attacks using weapons and explosives may cause dismemberment and/or decapitation. Extreme acts of violence are shown in several scenes, along with themes of torture and suicide. A young character is shown consuming alcohol during the game, and another character makes sexual jokes about an adult magazine. In conversation, strong language is commonly employed.
Players can relate to the characters in this game and experience a sense of protectiveness. The game play is fantastic and the graphics are simply outstanding. The best action/storytelling game is this one, hands down.
